There are a number of differences between the factions you'll want to be aware of, too. Orcs and Humans are functionally the
Classic gold same, together with workers manually chopping down trees and disappearing into gold mines to collect gold, then walking back the resources to your Hall building. Therefore, you'll want Halls as close to gold mines as possible. If, for any reason, you need to build one further than the minimal space, you'll need more than the five workers to compensate for the lost time.
Night Elf workers, known as Wisps, want to Entangle a Gold Mine to gather from it, which takes 60 seconds. Once built, Wisps can be'loaded' into the mine, gathering gold without having to move. Being the environmental sort, they likewise don't destroy trees while gathering lumber, similar to the other factions. Pop a wisp on a shrub, and it'll float around gathering lumber for the remainder of the game.
The Undead have a particular gold arrangement -- a Haunted Gold Mine. Like Night Elf Wisps, Undead Acolytes remain on the mine and gather automatically. In 100 seconds, building one is slower than the Entangled Gold Mine, but Undead Acolytes do not need to stay around in one spot to construct, instead summoning a portal that attracts their structures into existence. When the portal is summoned, they are free to start other tasks.
Undead also differ in the other factions because they will need to utilize their most basic combat unit -- Ghouls -- to gather lumber. The trade-off is that Ghouls collect 20 timber per delivery rather than the Individual and Orc's 10, and the Night Elves' 5. They're also much more defensible, should your competitor target your workers.
Night Elf or Undead players may find their beginning mine prepared to work with, won't need to be worried about Haunting or Entangling immediately away, until, the first Gold Mine collapses. That's right, Gold Mines do not last forever, so you'll be seeking to expand rapidly into the ancient mid-game. Find another gold mine and begin planning to clear the area and enlarge to a second base. You also want to keep an eye for your opponent's expansions. If you have got two gold mines, and they've just got you, you're likely to be in a serious benefit.
To find out where your opponents are enlarging too, though, you'll need to devote a while on recon. Sending a beginning employee out to learn more about the map is a frequent tactic, but make sure you replace them fast to avoid losing out on precious early game tools. For later on, all factions have access to flying or undetectable units which make for good scouts. Finding out early what type of
wow classic gold for sale force your competitors are constructing allows to construct an effective counter drive.
